What we collect
Account details; breeder identity documents and business registration numbers; dog records including microchip numbers and health‑test results; buyer purchase and deposit‑protection records; technical data. Payment details only through our licensed processor.
Why we collect it
To verify breeders and dogs, issue passports, run deposit protection, provide support and meet legal obligations.
Consent and withdrawal
Withdraw any time from Settings or privacy@pawtrace.ca.
Retention
Records kept for the period your province requires plus one year; passports persist for the life of the dog.
Access and correction
Request a copy, correction or deletion; we respond within 30 days.
Sharing
Only with the sources we verify against, our payment processor and hosting/email providers under contract. Never sold.
Cross‑border
Production data hosted in Canada; Quebec residents: PIA before any transfer outside Quebec.
